Excited to announce—especially during Black History Month—the world premiere of a new opera on May 20, 22 and 25: Death By Life. Comissioned by White Snake Projects, this opera “explores the intersection of systemic racism and mass incarceration. It's our response to the murder of George Floyd, a memorial to the day when he was killed by a police offer kneeling on his neck. We bear witness through making opera; to transmute pain into catharsis.”
