CREATIVE DIRECTOR of the Bristle Shores Playhouse Ted Lohman hires an eclectic ensemble of non-union actors to perform pop musical sensation Mamma Mia and classic Greek drama Medea in what he hopes will be a groundbreaking summer stock season. However, when the overworked (and clearly underpaid) Technical Director finds a “Cease and Desist” order from a major musical licensing company, the dramatic band of misfits has to decide whether to pack up their character shoes and catch a bus back to their catering gigs or come together to create a little theatre magic. Will they be able to completely recreate a major pop musical in time for Opening Night or will it be a true Greek tragedy? That’s Show Business.
